CASTROL AND BLACK MAMBAS SET FOR GTX LONG RIDE CAMPAIGN

Africa expirience an annual’s loss of around 35000 elephants to poaching, leaving fewer that 400,000 remaining on the continent. Other prominent threat increasing pressure on elephants populations are human wildlife conflict, habit loss, the closing of migratory corridors.

CASTROL SOUTH AFRICA expressed its commitment towards conservation by donating R50.000 to the BLACK MAMBAS Anti-pouching Unit. The donation, raised through the recently lauched GTX LONG RIDE CAMPAIGN, Castrol pledges R5 for every kilometre travelled during the GTX LONG RIDE. The 10.000km CAPE TO KENYA OVERLAND CHALLENGE, the relationship between CASTROL AND BLACK MAMBAS stretched back many years of resilience, and protection under pressure.
